The FONDATION USM Futures Lab is a new initiative launched in 2024 with the mission to explore, envision and advocate for possible futures that will create a positive impact on our world.

In early 2024, the FONDATION USM began the search for an international Advisory Panel of business, sector, and industry leaders to gather under the newly formed “Futures Lab” initiative.

Tasked with collaborating on defining possible futures that are brighter and more resilient, the panel convened on New York in June for a series of presentations and workshops focused on harnessing their collaborative insight and collective imagination.

The assembled 2024 Advisory Panel is as follows:

• Toby Southgate — Global CEO, Forsman & Bodenfors

• Tirana Hassan — Executive Director, Human Rights Watch

• Natsai Audrey Chieza — Founder, Faber Futures

• Nicholas Bequelin — Senior Fellow, Yale.

• Nada Taryam — CEO, BEEAH Real Estate

The Futures Lab initiative will continue to run throughout 2024, working together on guiding invited participants to not only bring the possible futures to life, but also chart a path to understanding how they could measurably create a positive impact.
